Interesting facts

The area occupied by the nuclear engineering giant Atommash amounted to more than 6 million square meters. About 500 Milan Cathedrals could accomodate on that territory.

In his radio interview, Twice Hero of Socialist Labor Alexey Ulesov said, inter alia, that the construction of the automobile giant AvtoVAZ required 11 cubic meters of concrete per each basement column of production sites; construction of KAMAZ - 23 cubic meters, whereas the construction of Atommash - as much as 760 cubic meters of concrete per single column. Comparison of these figures clearly demonstrates the magnitude of nuclear engineering giant Atommash, one of the largest construction projects of the USSR of the XX century.

International agency Executive Intelligence Review (EIR, U.S.) published a report called "Atommash: assembly line nuclear plants" in its Volume 6, Number 28, July 17, 1979. The article opened information about the Atommash industrial giant, situated on the banks of the Volga-Don Canal, which was previously classified in the USSR, to interested persons in the U.S. Marsha Freeman (reputable writer on space and nuclear technologies), author of this special article values Atommash highly. She writes, in particular: "Atommash is the most modern example of a Soviet integrated industrial complex..." ... "There is no American Atommash." Objectively comparing the U.S. manufacturers of nuclear reactors (including the flagship plant of Westinghouse Electric Company in Florida) to Atommash, the author makes the obvious conclusion in favor of the latter. "The key to the process is standardization." - writes the author. "In the U.S., nuclear reactors are produced by four different suppliers and designed virtually from scratch as "one-of-a-kind" ventures. At Atommash, the design is standardized in several sizes." The article is totally devoid of bias typical of the "Cold War" period, and stresses the great importance of Atommash, as the future nuclear engineering flagship, for the development of industry,  energy and economy of the USSR.

The R&D works for the Biomass Energy Unit (BEU) developed by Firm YACONTO SE were carried out by leading experts and designers from Salyut Design Bureau of Khrunichev State Research and Production Space Center (Moscow) and scientists from Institute of Biochemistry named after A.N. Bach of the Russian Academy of Sciences (Moscow). The production technology of BEU was designed in a way that rocket bodies of ballistic missiles intended for disposal or destruction at the reduction of armaments under national disarmament program could be used as reservoirs. Mass production of BEU could have become a good example of quality disarmament by bilateral agreement between the USSR and U.S. On 20.03.1996 Rospatent issued to Firm YACONTO LLP a Patent №2056393 for the invention of BEU of 20.03.1996 (priority of invention since 19.03.1993).

If the business visit of His Excellency Mr. Mousavi to Atommash OJSC, initially planned in October 1995, wasn't cancelled due to his illness, the modern history of the Islamic Republic of Iran could have been totally different. However, in reality, it was behind-the-scenes activity of destructive forces that disrupted the visit of the high-ranking official of Iran to Volgodonsk (Rostov region). Those forces are fully liable for anti-state activities that were carried out in Russia's internal and external policy in the 1990s, which in the end undermined Russian economy.

Taking into account inflation and changes in purchasing power of the U.S. dollar over the past years, the funds initially invested in Atommash and its infrastructure by USSR are equivalent to $122.8 Billion. Thus, it's fairly easy to calculate the scale of damage that Concern YACONTO JSC (owner of a 28.5% share in Atommash) and Russian Federation (30% share accordingly) suffered as a result of the intentional bankruptcy of Russia's nuclear engineering flagship.

The article “Nuclear passions around ATOMMASH”, originally posted on 15.04.2010 on www.yaconto.ru, became a prototype of the article “Like a Nuclear decay” (in Russian) published in the independent public newspaper “Soviet Russia” №40 (13402) on 17.04.2010 with the consent of, and in the wording of YACONTO LLC. The article “Like a Nuclear decay” was signed by Deputies of the Russian State Duma Mr. Anatoly Lokot and Mr. Vadim Solovyov (CPRF faction) and a friend of Vladimir Putin – Mr. Vasily Shestakov (‘A Just Russia’ faction). Completely sharing the opinion and supporting rigorous actions of the Deputy of the Russian State Duma Mr. Anatoly Lisitsyn (‘United Russia’ faction) supported his positive activity reflected in the “Like a Nuclear decay” article. What’s unique about the fact that the article was published in the “Soviet Russia” newspaper is that the original, well-reasoned article of YACONTO LLC united prominent representatives of the three leading parties of Russian Parliament, which compete with each other but are unanimous when it comes to the evaluation of the intentional bankruptcy and restoration of the status-quo of Atommash OJSC in the interests of the State and thousands of shareholders of Russia’s nuclear engineering flagship.
